Breast thermography is available at the 42 Davis Road office four times per year.

Thermography, also known as Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI), is administered by New England Clinical Thermography (NECT). DITI is a noninvasive diagnostic technique that allows the examiner to visualize and quantify changes in skin surface temperature as affected by vascular and sympathetic nervous system changes.  There is no radiation exposure from thermography.  Neither the use of image-enhancing drugs nor physical contact are required.

Though breast thermography does not entirely replace mammography, it is capable of detecting changes in breast tissues much earlier than either mammography or physical exams.
